Review by hotel critic
B&B Il Poggetto offers a tranquil escape in a picturesque location perfect for cycling through the Tuscan countryside, embodying the true essence of Italian heritage. The host warmly welcomed us and provided valuable recommendations for exploring the area. The room, equipped with kitchen facilities, offered a welcome change from constant dining out. While the amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a cozy sitting area were appreciated, the lack of air conditioning may be a concern during warmer months. The option of a paid shuttle service could enhance convenience for guests without transportation. The serene garden area and outdoor dining space were delightful for unwinding after a day of exploration. However, for those seeking more lavish offerings, the absence of certain amenities may impact the perceived value.Ultimately, B&B Il Poggetto strikes a balance between charm and practicality, making it a suitable choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat without the extravagance of a high-end luxury hotel.
